TJ Rosenman ~ Manager
TJ Rosenman grew up in North Hollywood California, the entertainment industry was always around him. His Mother an aspiring actress, singer who played piano. His Father, a two time Academy Award Winning Composer. Every type of Music played in our home. The entertainment business was always a topic of conversation.
Growing up in LA and listening to Hall Of Fame radio personalities “The Real Don Steele” and “Robert W. Morgan” were a strong influence. In college hosting his own radio show on KVCM “Pounds of Sound” radio. Then hosting “The Land Of A Thousand Faces” Monster makeup show. A live stage show performed in front of eighteen hundred people four times a day at Universal Studios California. Hosting and performing monster prosthetic makeup Nationally with “Catch Hollywood In The Act” the Universal Studios promotional tour.
He continued to DJ throughout Los Angeles in some of the hottest nightspots as a member of the S.C.D.D.J.A (Southern Calif. Disco DJ Association).
One night he stepped out of the DJ booth to enter a dance contest at one of the clubs he was working in and won.. As they say, the rest is history. Some of TJ’s dancing highlights are dancing on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. Winning the 1978 American Bandstand National Dance Contest with his partner.
Dancing on Dick Clarks Rocking New Years Eve Specials and countless other television shows. Dance shows in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Dancing and touring Japan with “Hot Flash” dance show. Producing, choreographing and dancing with his own show “TJ Dancers” in Osaka Japan. Working with director Pat Birch as a dancer in The film “Grease 2”. He even danced when he was picked over the other two bachelors on “The Dating Game” a Chuck Barris Production.
Moving to Florida he found himself on the radio again. Hosting his show on 93.3fm Flagler’s Blizzard Of Oldies. Playing the music he grew up with In LA, the sounds of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.
TJ’s unique entertainment background as a performer, producer choreographer is a perfect fit for STEAM The Band as their Manager.
